Bill Roberts is a health lawyer who has worked in the employee benefits field for more than 30 years. During that time, he has worked for two employee benefits consulting firms and three law firms. He has served as benefits counsel to entities ranging in size from single-person professional practices up to public companies traded on national stock exchanges with tens of thousands of employees. He has also served the Kentucky Public Employees Deferred Compensation Authority as special counsel and outside general counsel. Both as a consultant and as a lawyer, he has counseled hundreds of clients in all aspects of tax and ERISA compliance related to maintenance of defined contribution and defined benefit tax qualified retirement plans as well as welfare plans.
